Acceptance

By creating an account or using Scanline, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The Service

Scanline is a personal game library manager that aggregates your game ownership and subscription data from third-party stores. Scanline is not affiliated with Valve, Sony, Microsoft, Epic Games, GOG, or any other game platform.

Your Account

  • You must provide a valid email address.
  • You are responsible for maintaining access to your account.
  • Access is currently by invitation only.
  • You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings.

Third-Party Accounts

When you connect a game store, you authorize Scanline to access your library data on that platform. You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting the store in your settings. Scanline accesses only the data needed to import your game library and play history.

Scanline is not responsible for changes to third-party APIs, authentication methods, or data availability. Store connections may break if a platform changes their systems.

Acceptable Use

Don't:

  • Share your invite code with bots or automated systems.
  • Attempt to access other users' data.
  • Abuse the service in ways that degrade it for others.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Data & Privacy

Your use of Scanline is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Disclaimer

Scanline is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access, data accuracy, or compatibility with any third-party platform. Game library data is sourced from third parties and may be incomplete or incorrect.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BitAndBrush, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Scanline.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of Scanline after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
